Adah Sharma is currently in Kanha, Madhya Pradesh, where she is participating in Anubhuti, a special programme designed for young children to help them connect deeply with nature and wildlife. Known for her genuine love for the environment and her consistent efforts towards nature conservation, Adah was brought on board as the perfect ambassador to inspire children through her presence and passion.
Anubhuti is an initiative by the Madhya Pradesh Eco Tourism Development Board, in association with the Madhya Pradesh Forest Department. The core aim of the programme is to sensitise students towards nature and wildlife, while educating them about the precautions, do’s and don’ts of living in close proximity to forest areas. A strong emphasis is laid on helping children understand how forests and the creatures that inhabit them are not separate from humans, but are essential to our own survival.
As part of the programme, children are taken on a guided safari, allowing them to witness firsthand the rich biodiversity of Indian forests and the delicate interconnectedness of all living beings. They also participate in nature trails, where they learn about forest ecosystems, plant life, and animal habitats in an engaging and experiential manner. To reinforce these lessons, interactive games with strong environmental messages are conducted, ensuring that the importance of forest protection stays with the children long after they leave Kanha.
