Mentored by Dr Aditi Govitrikar, who is the pageant’s National Director, the entrepreneur will go on to represent the UAE at the global Mrs World 2027 pageant in USA
Ankita Jain Bhatia was crowned Mrs UAE World 2026 by Dr Aditi Govitrikar at a ceremony in Dubai on October 10. An entrepreneur, Bhatia will now prepare to represent the UAE at the global Mrs World 2027 pageant, with Dr Govitrikar, former Mrs World, psychologist and coach, mentoring her ahead of the international competition.
Drawing on her experience in international pageantry and psychology, Dr Govitrikar, National Director of Mrs UAE World for two consecutive years, has shaped the pageant around a vision that places beauty alongside confidence, character and individuality. Her approach extends beyond the crowning ceremony, encouraging participants to develop their own voices and use the visibility that comes with the title meaningfully. As Bhatia’s mentor, she will guide her in communication, stage presence, personal branding, media interactions, leadership and emotional resilience.
“Pageantry can be a deeply transformative experience when it gives a woman the confidence to recognise her strengths and a platform to express what matters to her. For me, beauty with purpose means looking beyond appearances to a woman’s character, experiences, ambitions and ability to connect with people. Ankita brings an entrepreneurial spirit, individuality and a willingness to explore new possibilities. I look forward to helping her build on these strengths as she prepares for Mrs World. My role is not to shape her into a predetermined idea of a titleholder, but to help her find her own voice, communicate with conviction and approach this responsibility with authenticity. The crown may open the door, but what she chooses to do with the opportunity will define her contribution,” said Dr Aditi Govitrikar, National Director of Mrs UAE World.
For Bhatia, the title marks a new chapter alongside her entrepreneurial career. It offers an opportunity to exchange experiences with women from different backgrounds and connect with audiences beyond her professional sphere. She hopes to bring her own perspective to the role while encouraging women to pursue their aspirations through the different stages of life.
“Being crowned Mrs UAE World 2026 fills me with immense gratitude and pride, along with a sense of responsibility to make the most of this opportunity. Entrepreneurship has taught me to keep learning, embrace challenges and remain open to possibilities beyond what is familiar. I see this new chapter in much the same way. As I prepare for Mrs World, I look forward to discovering new strengths and learning from Dr Govitrikar and the women I meet along the way. I also hope to share a message that is personal to me: our ambitions can evolve as our lives change, and there is always room to begin something new. If my journey encourages other women to trust their individuality, take chances on themselves and keep pursuing what matters to them, it will make this experience all the more meaningful,” said Ankita Jain Bhatia, entrepreneur and Mrs UAE World 2026 titleholder.
During her tenure, Bhatia will identify causes that reflect her values and develop a distinct public voice around them. Her preparation will combine the demands of international pageantry with opportunities to engage with wider audiences and build connections around issues she cares about.
For Dr Govitrikar, that wider contribution is central to the platform she hopes to build through Mrs UAE World. “I have always believed that a crown should amplify a woman’s purpose, not define her worth. I want Mrs UAE World to celebrate women in all their individuality and recognise what becomes possible when they have the confidence and support to step forward. Ankita’s crowning marks the start of her tenure, and I look forward to seeing how she brings her own experiences, values and ambitions to the role,” she added. As preparations for Mrs World 2027 begin, Bhatia will draw on her entrepreneurial experience and Dr Govitrikar’s mentorship as she takes on the responsibility of representing the UAE on an international stage.
