Helmed by director Kanishk Varma, produced by Vipul Shah and co-produced by Aashin A Shah, India’s first ambitious alien thriller ‘Samuk’ is shaping up to be one of the biggest Indian theatrical event films of 2027. Akshay Kumar returns to the large-scale action role, with the spectacle clubbing survival horror and alien thriller elements on a global level.

Samuk brings together a major international technical team from Hollywood franchise filmmaking, including Academy Award-nominated creature effects designer Alec Gillis. The film’s action will be overseen by British stunt coordinator Luke Tumber, whose credits include Mission: Impossible, the Venom films, Star Wars, No Time To Die, and Marvel’s Vision Quest. Considering the magnum scale of the film, the audience is excited to witness this one-of-a-kind spectacle.
